Local Delicacies Delightful Flavors

Ecuadorian cuisine is a diverse tapestry of flavors. Try “ceviche” for coastal zest or “llapingachos” for Andean comfort. “Locro de papa” is a creamy potato delight, while “cuy” offers a taste of tradition. Satisfy sweet cravings with “espumilla” and “morochas,” or relish “tres leches cake.” For drinks, explore “chicha” and spiced “canelazo.” And during festivities, enjoy “colada morada.” Ecuadorian cuisine is a celebration of culture and taste.

10/10 can recommend!

We went to Cotopaxi Tour from the office next to Selina. The tour was worth every dollar! Ricardo told us everything about the area surrounding Cotopaxi, he brought us to a nice little roadside restaurant just outside the National Park and the lunch was delicious!. Last but not least, the rose farm, where we saw the garden, the post harvest and even bought a bundle of roses for 1.5$. We enjoyed every moment, and Ricardo is definitely good at what he is doing. We even got private transfer to Baños from the rose farm, which was nice after a full day of activities. 10/10 can recommend!

Baños waterfalls and Cotopaxi adventure

We had an amazing adventure with Quito Bike Tours. Catalina helped us pick the right tour for our interests and time we had available. Our guide, David, took us through waterfalls in Los Banos and hiked to a glacier at Cotopaxi volcano. He also showed us the towns along our tour and educated us on their history and culture. He was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Fernando drove us safely to our destinations and was very friendly as well. It was a pleasure to spend the 2 days with both of them. I would take another tour with them if I had the time. Thanks again to quito bike tours for all the memories!!
